18 Americans are beginning the adventure of a lifetime in the vicious environment inhabitted by pirates, Tortuga. These survivors come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but over the next 39 days they will compete in the ultimate challenge. 18 people all from different walks of life forced to work together to make a new society while battling the elements and each other. They must learn to adapt in a game like no other that will test them and push them to the breaking point. In the end only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize and the title of Sole Survivor.
39 Days, 18 People, 1 Survivor
Hello everyone and welcome to JW Presents Survivor Tortuga. This is the fourth season in my series. The first 3 were a blast, and I'm ready to take on a fourth. Last season had a pretty wonky twist which I feel worked out really well, but there won't be a twist like that this season. I'm not saying there will be no twist, but it won't be as game changing as last season.
My games are pretty much all live. Last season every TC and IC were live, no joke every single one. My game moves at a fast pace, because it's more interesting that way, but it's not like a social life sucker, I give breaks, I give days off, I mean I have a life too so I don't take up every night for you guys for an entire month. Season 2 took exactly 39 days from the check in, and Season 3 was around 37 days, I think. Don't quote me on that, but that's what it looks like from the date of check ins to the live finale.
To guarantee an active cast instead of Sign Ups I have an application. So far the past three seasons have each had a great cast overall, but I do like to see some new people in the mix. To increase the amount of new people I am limiting the spots of returning players to 6-7 players. I really want a new mix of people, so if you're a returning player you better have an amazing application or you won't play. Here's the application:

Pick 4 Survivors you would like to play as and explain in detail what your strategy would be with each castaway. (You need 2 girls and 2 guys, and there must be a variety of seasons because I will only choose 3-4 players from each season in order to have a variety in this cast) Also, you must be prepared and willing to play as any of these 4 players because I will get final say as to who you will be playing as.
[size=1*If you do not wish to play as a guy or play as a girl only list 2 survivors of each gender, but keep in mind this lowers your chances at playing because if you choose to only be a girl, and all the spots for girls get filled, I won't be able to put you in as a guy.[/size]

Applications are due by February 19th at MIDNIGHT EST.
If you have made the cast you will be notified on February 20th. If you have not made the cast you will also be notified on that day. Check In will directly follow the delivering of the e-mails, and everyone will have until Monday night at 9pm to Check In, or else you will be replaced. The game begins on Monday the 22nd, and the beginning will be live on AIM at 10pm EST. More info on this will be sent to you with your acceptance e-mail.
